La Cocina School at El Centro de la Raza will be offering a Shrimp and Vegan Ceviche Cooking Class in partnership with SharkBite Ceviches! Now is your chance to learn how to make two different kinds of ceviche from expert Marcos Arellano! Marcos will be leading guests on how to make a shrimp ceviche and a vegan ceviche dish. He is a graduate of our El Centro de la Raza’s Business Opportunity Center Program, where he honed his finance, operations, and marketing skills. Currently, he is one of our food cart vendors, and you find him on Plaza Roberto Maestas during lunch hours Thursday through Sunday. We are excited to foster and support Marcos' entrepreneurial journey.

SharkBite Ceviches is always made with the freshest ingredients creating a perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious final product. Beer and wine will be served during the ceviche tastings (limit two per person).

Class will begin promptly at 6:30 PM in the kitchen at El Centro de la Raza and will run until around 8:30 PM. All cooking supplies and ingredients will be provided, but please bring your own apron. On occasion, La Cocina classes are held in the Centilia Cultural Center's kitchen to accommodate larger groups.
