La Cocina School 3 Course Peruvian Dinner with Fideo a la Huancaina

La Cocina School at El Centro de la Raza will be offering a Latin cooking course on how to prepare a 3 Course Peruvian Dinner with Raquel Rodriguez! Raquel will teach you how to prepare:

Causa limeña de atún, Appetizer
Mashed potatoes seasoned with aji amarillo and lime juice, filled with tuna and mayonnaise

Fideo a la Huancaina co lomo Saltado, main dish
Boiled pasta mix with huancaina sauce and aji amarillo topped with sautéed steak seasoned with Soja, teriyaki sauce, sesame oil and cherry vinegar

Arroz con leche a la limeña, dessert
White rice boiled and drenched in Peruvian pisco with condensed milk and dried cranberries, topped with coconut flakes

Beer and wine is served at this event. Limit: two drinks per person.

Class will begin promptly at 10:00 AM in the kitchen at El Centro de la Raza and will run until around 12:30 PM. All cooking supplies and ingredients will be provided, but please bring your own apron. On occasion, La Cocina classes are held in El Centro de la Raza's kitchen on the north end of the building on the ground floor at 2524 16th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144. There is street parking available and we are located next to the Beacon Hill Light Rail Station.

Tickets are $85 each and the proceeds from the La Cocina School at El Centro de la Raza Latin Cooking Classes go to fund El Centro de la Raza's Senior Nutrition & Wellness Program. As such, we are unable to process any refunds. In the event that you are unable to attend, we are happy to place you into a different class or you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else.
